Salmonid Interpretive Centre
Set along the banks of the Exploits River, the Salmonid Interpretation Centre offers a rare and immersive glimpse into the world of Atlantic salmon. We helped the Environment Resources Management Association (ERMA) team reimagine a previously underused space with a new interpretive experience, guiding guests to learn, reflect, and connect with this remarkable species and place.
We developed a full signage plan and a suite of nine interpretive panels that now guide and welcome visitors throughout the centre. The design approach honoured the science of salmon conservation and community, while making space for wonder, movement, and storytelling. From the salmon life cycle to climate change, each sign invites curiosity and understanding.
